As part of its planned further expansion in the USA, the listed railcar leasing specialist has taken over the business operations of the

SC Rail Leasing America Inc.

Acquired by the Japanese Sumitomo Corporation through one of its US subsidiaries. HANSE Consulting M&A was exclusively assigned with the target company research and approach. The purchase took place with effect from December 01, 2011.

Scope of consulting

HANSE Consulting M&A provided the following services:

• Research and compilation as well as analysis of suitable, non-listed target companies
• Contacting the shareholders of the target companies
• Clarifying the willingness to sell and establishing contact with VTG
