Strategic company succession

Landkäserei Holtsee GmbH, whose shareholders include Steffen Rode (LACTOPROT Deutschland GmbH), has acquired the business operations of Meiereigenossenschaft Holtsee-Ascheberg eG as part of an asset deal.

Meierei is a cooperative of dairy farmers based in Holtsee, Schleswig-Holstein, and operates a modern cheese production facility.

In view of declining membership numbers of the cooperative, HANSE M&A was commissioned with the search for a strategic successor for the business operations.

A buyer could be found, which ensures the securing of the existence as well as future expansion of the company. The Holtsee-Ascheberg eG dairy cooperative will supply the high-quality milk produced to Landkäserei Holtsee GmbH in the coming years.
