A few days ago, the German Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection published the draft bill for a law on the further development of restructuring and insolvency law (SanInsFoG):

In addition to a reform of the law on self-administration (ESUG) and an amendment to the law on remuneration (InsVV), the draft bill primarily contains the implementation of the Act on the Stabilization and Restructuring Framework for Companies (Company Stabilization and Restructuring Act – StaRUG) into German law. This is intended to implement the EU directive on the preventive restructuring framework in Germany in 2021.
